This converted lamp comes with an antique 4ft metal tripod and can be used as either a table lamp or can stand-alone.
The heating unit now replaces that same concept and bounces off beautiful light instead of heat. It can either stand alone on a flat surface or be hung sconce-style on the wall.
I replaced the original electric internal clock with a battery-powered one, and electrified it with an antique style dimmer switch and retro nylon cord.
This turned out to be a perfect little accent lamp with metal shade. The socket has a dimmer switch on it and rests beautifully on any counter or table.
